The Barmenia Group is one of the largest independent insurance groups in Germany. Its product portfolio encompasses everything from health and life insurance, to accident and motor vehicle insurance, to liability and property insurance. Over 3,400 sales employees and a large number of brokers manage a portfolio of over 2 million insurance contracts.
In scope of the workspace transformation initiative the company engaged Medivas to refresh two large conference rooms (20mx15m) in their HQ office in Wuppertal. The project objectives included moving away from analog signal transmission and delivering a functional user-friendly collaboration space.

Room- and media control
We’ve designed an intuitive interface, which corresponds to the firm’s brand guidelines and allows for easy room control in just a few clicks. Among the enabled functions are light and climate system control, possibility to adjust volume or chose the source.

Projectors
We’ve chosen laser projectors that generate high image resolution, enable stable operation and long lifespan. What’s more, they’ve got a shorter time to start, which enables users to start all meeting on time.

Signal distribution
We’ve introduced video and audio signal distribution over IP in line with the modern technology standards. This allows greater flexibility, scalability, as well as the furhter use of the signal within the firm’s corporate network.
